Flower Card

I made this card for someone's birthday recently. The person who receives it, sorry it's late but, not been crafting for a bit now! I really enjoyd creating this card using my own choice of patterned papers, colours and materials used. I use this gorgeous decorative ribbon with sequins on it, quite Indianish, which I bought from the Creative Stictches & Hobbycrafts Show last year in October at the SECC. I added a decorative button onto the top of my flower (made out of hand drawn and cut out hearts). I used some faux stitching using my Artists Pitt Pen fabal Castell!

This card I created was inspired from a project seen in Octobers Craft Beautiful magazine titled "Material World". I saw it a while ago and loved it and fancied trying it out myself. I am not one for trying out other sprojects as I like my mind to think for itself in the creative world but, I really did enjoy putting this card together and am delighted with the results!

Well....What can I say! I really stupidy bought this magazine again which, I only just bought yesterday. I was meant to get the Papercraft Essentials instead but, the covers on both are very much the same so got confused and didn't think what I was ding. I only realised when I got home what I had done.....I then thought! "i'll just do a up for grabz on my blog and do a first come first serve". So, if you enjoy this particular craft magazine and have not yet got it and would like it along with the lovely free xmas papers please comment and, the first person to say that they do will receive this from me. If you are from CB Forum and are a member, who wins this, and are not on the RAK list please PM me with your address. Thanks for looking!

Beatrix Potter Museum

We went on holiday recently to Centreparcs, in Penrith, near the Lakes! We had a week there and thoroughly enjoyed each and every day doing all sorts!
While we were there my MIL and SIL wanted to go to Windermere to visit the Beatrix Potter Museum. We had a splendid time there and here I have posted lots of photos I took of many of the characters Beatrix came up with for her stories! Enjoy looking, there lot! Jemima Puddleduck is my favourite!
