Autumn Challenge

Over on the crafts beautiful forum Laverne aka Golden Hipie, is hosting a challenge where you have to create a card with the theme of Autumn! This here is my entry where I have created a multi functional card which is a ard come wall hanging piece of craft art, somethin that is aesthetically pleasing for the receiver to enjoy rather than closing away in a drawer! I have created my design on a basic circular format using punched out flowers, ribbon rose buds, stitched on beads with bronze metallic thread, unusual shell type like beads (for bracelets), sequins and gorgeous brown paper with a turquoise butterfly! I am really delighted with this make as the design just happened itself as I played around!

New Ceations

Just wanted to show a couple of my new makes made recently, for two special people in my life! The first one is very basic as iIwanted the paper to talk for itself. All I've used is flower paper and ribbon, tied bows and stitched on gold beads!

The other card I have used beautiful pink pisley paper, floral coloured paper then threaded on beads to silver wie and created a flower shape by hand!

Thanx for looking. x

Choo Choo

Yesterday I was looking after my two angels as Josh is not in nursery on thursdays! We went to the park in the morning and in the afternoon we played..........TRAINS! And here are some pictures to show you Joshs' remarkable Thomas The Tank Engine train set that he has built up in his bedroom! Josh just llllllllloves trains! as most little boys do! Just thought I would share our fun!

Morning with my Sister's

This morning I met up with my two sisters, Jenni & Stephanie! along with my little nephew Matthew and Ava came along too! We met at a lovely garden centre for coffee/tea.hot chocolate and cake! It was lovelyto have a sister catch up over a lovely drink and yummy chocolate crispie cake! Ava loved seeing her Auntie's. She was smothered with cuddles! Unfortunately, I didn't get a cuddle with Matthew as he was fast asleep! But, he looked gorgeous as ever and big! Jenni wanted us to play this game she saw on One Tree Hill, what do you hate and what do you love right now! It was interesting to play! Quite good too!

Afterwards Jenni had to get going for going to a friends' of hers in the afternoon so, I went to look at the basic craft things they had and below is what I got along with two little cards i'll be sending off! Above, pictured is two books I bought for Josh - he loves his trains! This will be his bedtime stories tonight and probably tomorrow too. Overall I had a great morning with my sisters and look forward to it again soon.

Cardmaking & Papercraft

While I was out down at our local shops I went to the Post Office to post my Tag swaps to shelleyhope and something for my DH. While I was in there I just checked the shelfs for magazines I tend to buy for a read. To my delight I saw my regular buy of Cardmaking Papercrafts! So, obviously I bought it! I am ever so much looking forward to a good read of this. The magazine had a free embossing metal tool with it which I am more than likey not to use so, hopefully someone I know will want it who shall make use of it! If interested just post a comment here!
