Afternoon Trip Out

What a lovely afternoon out we had after a morning of well deserved shopping! Sorry, no piccie of my shopping yet but, will do tomorrow! We visited my sister, nephew, neice and brother in law again today but, today was the day that Josh & Ava got introduced to their new baby cousin Matthew James! They both loved it! Was nie for my MIL to meet him too as she adores babies! Who couldn't???? Anyway, above and below are pics of Ava and Josh sleeping in the car on the way to The Espiners household! How cute are they??? That fabric in Josh mouth is what he calls his bali! It's a muslim cloth that is his comfort blanket! He has various balis too. He has had this for quite some time now!
Here below is a piccie of my nephew, Matthew, and DD Ava napping in their car seat sie by side on arrival into the Espiners household! This house became rather noisy with 4 children! as you can well imagine! Just look at the sizes of them together. Ava is almost 5 months older than her cousin!

Me and My Nephew

Well.....I just had to share these piccies! Here I am this evening after visiting my sister, bro-in-law, nephew and neice! Matthew James was just a wee star when I saw him. He was fast asleep whn I arrived but, not long beore I had to leave I saw his beautiful deep blue eyes! I was in my element cuddling into my gorgeous nephew. The smell of babies is just divine! What a very good baby he is too! I had a really good time visiting them and really loved seeing my sister too and my beautiful neice, Isla. I played with her too as it helped the parents a little too! Hope you like the piccies. I do not look brilliant as had been swimming beforehand and, had no time to make myself look resopectable!

Matthew James Espiner

My sister was expecting her second baby due 8th August but, I waited to see what she had before I made her a card. Jennifer and Michael had their baby son born on saturday 16th August at 7:30pm weighing an astonishing 9lb 8.5oz and was 55cm long! As soon as I heard I was excited about making them a card! I made it the next day after being told the wonderful news. This is what I handcrafted for the happy parents. I used a paper which I've had for a while now! It might seem odd that this baby boy card has oink in it but, with the yellow and brown in it as well creates a baby feeling. I then creathed a pram shape using wire with threaded on beads, which I did myself and joined eah component together wrapping the wires around one another! I then glued on the teddy bear (given to me by Sarah Louise Mitchell) and also the sequins too. I then stitched a frame around the whole image using blue metallic thread and stitched on a sequin and bead to each corner! To finish off I cut and sticky fixed 2x blue panels where I wrote Matthew James and the date. I was very pleased with my finished card and luckily so did the proud parents and grandparents too.

Pudding Card

I got some more Decoupage designs cut up last week which I had put to the side to make more cards. This card was one of the few designs I cut up and created this lovely tasty card. Made me hungry for pudding I have to admit. Used some patterned paper that I received from the CB team when I was chosen for something in the Hall of Fame section. This was because I was continuing to post and all sorts once I had my baby girl Ava! I love this patterned paper but, didn't really know what to do with it till I came across cutting this decoupage design out, works perfectly well I think! Hpe you like it.....Sorry if it makes you hungry for something sweet!
