September Tag Swap Peek

Thought I would share a small peek of my September tag Swap with you all. I got one of my Tags done the other night for the Crafts Beaustiful monthly Tag swap that we do. I did not have a clue what I was going to do for this so just let my hands create away whatever they desired to do and choose to use for it. I am really happy with the finished result and hope the receiver loves it just as much as I do. I always hate parting my creations but, at least I know they are always going to good homes to be looked after well! I used papers given to me in a RAK from Martine McNight over on the Cb Forum!

RAKS

The Postman was awfully good to me this morning! He brought me many a parcel this morning making it feel like xmas! I was amazed with all these wonderful and exciting RAKs sent out to me, I was particulary touched by everyone's thoughtfullness! Firstly, there was this beautiful ard from Michelle Lancaster(aka Wiggley) on CB Forum. She sent me this along with two small chocolate packets of buttons and milk bottons for my two kiddiewinks. How kind of her. The words she wrote were very touching and made me smile hugely. Thanx michelle, this truly made my day.

Next there came this gorgeously stunning Thanku crd from Phillipa Baxter (aka snaggles) over at CB Forum! She sent me this as a word of thanx for her RAK I sent her and for being her friend and supporting her! I was touched by this hugely, so huge thanx goes to you Phillipa! Your a dear and precious friend to me!

Ali over on the CB forum kindly sent me this beautiful RAK of crafty bits, thanku very much Ali. Such a lovely surprise!

Oriental Challenge

Over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum Rose*Angel is hosting a Oriental Themed challenge! I am not much of a person for Oriental things but, thought I would give this a shot as I found a couple of things to use for it.

I used a Decoupage design that I bought a couple of years ago. Found it a few weeks ago amongst all my craft stash. I layed it all on top of a small cut out black card then sticky fixed this to the backing paper of Basic Grey patterned paper. I am absolutely thrilled with the result and delighted that I have entered this challenge. I wish Goodluck to all of those who have entered this challenge of Rose*Angels.

Heading Off Up Soon

Just thought I'd mention that I am about to head up upstairs and join my husband watching telly in our bedroom as we have had a digi box put in today and, all I fancy doing is hopping into my snuggly bed with a BIG BAG of crisps to munch on while I watch the telly!

Hope everyone is hving a good evening and speak to you all later on!

This is a fairy with attitude which, I have composed on top of some fantastic Basic Grey patterned paper. So many lovely members onthe CB forum have left me very kind comments on this make that it makes me want to produce more of these. Hope you like it because I do!

September CB Sub

The excitement of receiving my Crafts Beautiful monthly magazine is just beyond me! I always look forward to receiving my subs copy through my door each month, I wait in anticipation to see wha the forthcoming projects are going to be. I was more than delighted to find my September copy when I came home from my shopping spree with MIL last Friday!

There wer mountains of fabulous projects in this months issue. Above & below show a project using materials in crafting: "Material World". I fell in love with these; the sketchbook, tags and card. This is very inspirational and, yes! i'll be having a go.....but when will I have the time?........no idea!.......but someday soon I hope!

As I kept reading I came acros these beautiful Beatrix Poter stamp set that is being given away in a competition. If I can, I'll give it a go! I just thought that these were absolutely adoreable when it caught my eye! Very kiddie style!

Then I came across this adoreable knitted rabbit. It really caught my eye because of all the little pockets filled with bunnies on the dress! The knitted baby shoes are also soooo very cute. I am no knitter but, really do think that this is such a beautiful knitted item.

Little Girl

I hve had some decoupage design sheets for a couple of years that I have not used so, decided to start using some more of them the other day! I have used a Little Girl design which I have put upon a backing pape I received from someone in a RAK! Thought that the paper worked really well with the decoupage of the girl. Aren't the butterflies and the little girl just sooooo adoreable??? Funy thing is Pinkpuppy aka Louise, posted something about dreaming about a little girl kneeling on the ground with a butterfly in her hands exactly like this image, is this just not freaky? I think it is! Anyway hop you like! I did create this for the Kiddies Challenge but, noticed today that the challenge was closed. Bummer! Next time!

Special Card for a Good Friend

Recently on the CB Forum I have made a couple more new friends whom I chat to quite a bit and they have commented on many of works that they really like and I the same likewise. I decided that it was time for me to get crafting and make a list of those people whom to send out RAKS to. I managed to start these off last night and have got the first one done, packaged and posted off this afternoon for a special friend who I care about a lot! This is the card below that I handcrafted for her and do believe she will like it! Alongside this are a bundle of crafty materials and something to enjoy while crafting or reading a good craft magazine. Thanx for looking and I do hope you all like this. Really enjoyed creating this card.

A Little Something

I have been handcrafting something just that little bit different butg, it is something that you could easily do on a card. This picture shows you a slight peek of something special I have handcrafted for someone for a particular reason. Just can not say what that reason is yet, for now. Just need to wait and see until thr person receives this piece of work from me! Hope you like what you can see of it.

Card Swap

I have recently joined the BubblyFunk Forum to see what it is like and get involved with what they do. I am a big fan of Caroline Scattergoods products she has for sale & really like the Kits she does! I have signed up with their August Card swap and below is what I produced! Just something simple & basic! Their card swaps work a little bit differenty but, not in a huge way. What they do is they choose who you send your card to and, you need to provide the same materials used for the recipitant to use and make a card with it all to see what they come up with! Quite interesting realy! Hope you like this!
