I was touched very warmly with this very generous gift from Sarah aka tiggertastic over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum. Thank you darlin!<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYxFAmzCI/AAAAAAAABwY/DMxV0xWiDw0/s1600/SDC12507.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508633263153269794" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYxFAmzCI/AAAAAAAABwY/DMxV0xWiDw0/s200/SDC12507.JPG" /></a> Above and Below show a card that I made using Glass Paints, Decorfin. This is a Dutch Paint which we sell on our website at <a href="http://www.iartsupplies.co.uk/">www.iartsupplies.co.uk</a> and I am a very passioante glass painter in cardmaking.Imake my very own toppers and this flower topper was great fun to do despite it being so timeconsuming to do. I used a very decorative paper from the Papermania Rose Collection and added pink ribbon and stitched on sequins and beads and a paper rose to hte centre of the topper. Below, shows the inside which I decorated to finish off the card.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYw_kZvMI/AAAAAAAABwQ/_wmkBt7Ihbg/s1600/SDC12517.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508633261692796098" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYw_kZvMI/AAAAAAAABwQ/_wmkBt7Ihbg/s200/SDC12517.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYwRADnsI/AAAAAAAABwI/W9T1E9YcbMk/s1600/SDC12606.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508633249192320706" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYwRADnsI/AAAAAAAABwI/W9T1E9YcbMk/s200/SDC12606.JPG" /></a> The Teddy Bears Wallahnging here I made for Buzyknitting over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum aka Pat. She is a knitter and makes many knitted dolls and teddy style products. Her work is remarakbaly beautiful and worth looking at. Anyway, made this card as a Thanks as she is a lovely and very kind friend. I really enjoyed making butit took quite some time to make. As you can see lots of paper flowers used again.I just can not get away from them.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYwIpLJcI/AAAAAAAABwA/KBgNqePDCeY/s1600/SDC12615.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508633246948861378" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKYwIpLJcI/AAAAAAAABwA/KBgNqePDCeY/s200/SDC12615.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>Sequin Beadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02795901284208863316noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7562584683069254780.post-72815182751887371612010-08-23T08:28:00.000-07:002010-08-23T08:40:57.727-07:00Love Birds<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU89sMx6I/AAAAAAAABv4/67GUqoRyc20/s1600/SDC12992.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508629069300549538" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU89sMx6I/AAAAAAAABv4/67GUqoRyc20/s200/SDC12992.JPG" /></a> This Birdie card I made some time ago and very much enjoyed creating too. What a pleasure it was to use this beautiful Craft Creations Decoupage Image. This image I got given for free by by craft creations themselves when I received an order form them of my card blanks - that's where I get my card blanks from you see - and inside was a A4 pack of various designs and this Birdie was one of 4.I teamed it up with Amy Butler paper and layerd with white card to frame the image. I added on paper flowers and paper roses too and ribbon also. Finished off with peircing a hole in the card and adding on a old butterfly earring I do not wear anymore. Finished it all off by decorating the inside too which is pictured right at the bottm of the post.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU8jhBxOI/AAAAAAAABvw/1nkvH1Ne0WU/s1600/SDC12993.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508629062274368738" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU8jhBxOI/AAAAAAAABvw/1nkvH1Ne0WU/s200/SDC12993.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU8MuTVmI/AAAAAAAABvo/RqrDgd3poWQ/s1600/SDC12994.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508629056156030562" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU8MuTVmI/AAAAAAAABvo/RqrDgd3poWQ/s200/SDC12994.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU7zjfTdI/AAAAAAAABvg/RmrRTPXQI0s/s1600/SDC12996.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508629049399791058" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU7zjfTdI/AAAAAAAABvg/RmrRTPXQI0s/s200/SDC12996.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU6asAAYI/AAAAAAAABvY/4Gr2KFVJ5EY/s1600/SDC12999.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508629025544733058" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKU6asAAYI/AAAAAAAABvY/4Gr2KFVJ5EY/s200/SDC12999.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>Sequin Beadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02795901284208863316noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7562584683069254780.post-88663450353590344342010-08-23T08:15:00.000-07:002010-08-23T08:28:21.751-07:00More of My Cards<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKRdfyYwjI/AAAAAAAABvQ/HAT3fjQCbQE/s1600/SDC13018.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508625230162608690" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKRdfyYwjI/AAAAAAAABvQ/HAT3fjQCbQE/s200/SDC13018.JPG" /></a> Above is a Birthday card Imade for no one in particular, was just to add to my basket of handcrafted cards. I painted the Fairy with my Rembrandt Watercolour paints and adhered with layering papers and card and adding gems and flowers from <a href="http://www.wildorchidcrafts.co.uk/">www.wildorchidcrafts.co.uk</a> which I am Loving right now and is my craze too.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKRdDNSivI/AAAAAAAABvI/bqggsrm-Olw/s1600/SDC12649.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508625222490819314" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/THKRdDNSivI/AAAAAAAABvI/bqggsrm-Olw/s200/SDC12649.JPG" /></a> Above here is a card I made specifically for my best freidns Sarah aka tiggertastic on the Crafts Beautiful Forum just to say how special she is to me. I followed the sketch but twisted it a bit and advanced it a little which you will see. It's mainly the text to balance it out better, otheriwse would have looked rather bizarre and off balance too. used bits and pieces for this and found it a bit of a challenge. These I use for making a Birthday set or some kind of set when it is for something special but, recently I have found using them on ATCs a very good way to use with scraps of papers and odds and ends from my crafty stash too. Very simple and effective. There are Angel Images, by Saadra Kuck, and some little Girl images on the beach and afternoon tea images also. Hope you like them and your comments will be much appreciated. More are on their way, so keep your eyes out.</span> <span style="color:#cc66cc;">You can see better pictures of these on the following </span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;"></span><br /><a href="http://http//www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/31229/">http://http://www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/31229/</a><br /><br /><a href="http://http//www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/31229/">http://http://www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/31229/</a><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/TADF4I863pI/AAAAAAAABpk/-CKkkX1-6v0/s1600/ATCs+2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 75px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 100px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476594715148869266" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/TADF4I863pI/AAAAAAAABpk/-CKkkX1-6v0/s200/ATCs+2.jpg" /></a><br /><div align="center"><span style="color:#cc66cc;">Natalie x</span><br /></div>Sequin Beadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02795901284208863316noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7562584683069254780.post-63617523340429701272010-05-21T05:11:00.000-07:002010-05-21T05:19:21.696-07:00CLP Sketch 25<div align="center"><span style="color:#ff6666;"><strong>Crafting Lifes Pieces</strong></span></div><span style="color:#ff6666;"><strong></strong></span><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S_Z4iwZhuaI/AAAAAAAABpc/omJk0X4HRJQ/s1600/CLP-25.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473694935618271650" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S_Z4iwZhuaI/AAAAAAAABpc/omJk0X4HRJQ/s200/CLP-25.jpg" /></a> <span style="color:#ff6666;">Recently I came across this Blog set up by Chelsea <a href="http://craftinglifespieces.blogspot.com/">http://craftinglifespieces.blogspot.com</a> and I was stuned by her cardmaking, style and use of materials and generally, just HER Work! I have not crafted for over a week now and getting ready for some creative cardmaking. After purchasing the C&P Issue 79 I have decided to do the Sketch that is in it this month, Why? Because I like Sketches and the LO of this one is lovely and simple and is one to allow you to be very creative with and, I have just an idea for this (I think! it might jus change though). I might even try it 3 ways like they do in the Magazine itself! Keep your eyes out for my Make to fit the Sketch!</span></div><div align="center"><span style="color:#cc33cc;"></span><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S-wkzRjJbjI/AAAAAAAABoM/s-R8K9zJx30/s1600/SDC12080.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470788110651059762" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S-wkzRjJbjI/AAAAAAAABoM/s-R8K9zJx30/s200/SDC12080.JPG" /></a><span style="color:#cc33cc;">My DD is very much into cardmaking and happily sits with me in my craft space allowing me to help her make many a card. What makes this challenge different is that the company that supplies us -<a href="http://www.talens.com/">Royal Talens</a> has provided the glass paints, relief paint and a brush, and we will cover the postage.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">So the challenge is to make 2 cards, </span><br /><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">One being a glass painted topper, that can be set on a card if you wish to demonstrate how it could be used, but the marks will only be to the topper itself.</span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;"></span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">One having a wedding theme, using the glass and relief paints along with what ever you feel inspired to.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">The only thing that must be done is to combine the glass paint together with the relief paint. This can be done on any surface or background that you feel lead to, as it is very versatile and will go onto any surface. Just be sure to take your time and read the leaflet that will be enclosed and visit our company blog for tips on how to use it if it is new to you. There is also examples of work on the blog too.</span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;"></span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">The colours we will provide are Fuchsia, Turquoise, Violet and a gold relief paint.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="color:#cc33cc;"><strong>The closing date for this challenge is</strong> <strong>Friday 11th June 8pm.</strong></span> </span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><strong><span style="color:#cc33cc;">Could you please either e-mail me at <a href="mailto:natalie@trinity4arts.co.uk">natalie@trinity4arts.co.uk</a> or Upload your entries to the Glass Painted Challnege thread over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum please. <a href="http://http//www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/29539/P15/">http://http://www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/29539/P15/</a> Thank you!</span></strong><br /><strong></strong><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">If you are interested all you need to do is go to our site register and order the challenge glass and relief paint from the link below, (you wont be charged it is only so that we have your details). We are in the process of of doing research (above) as we are in progress of furthering our ideas into the Carft Industry. One of the products we sell is Decorfin Glass Paint and Decorfin Relief Paint, produced by Royal Talens in Holland. There are other products to suit the craft market but, for now we are focussing on the Glass Paints. </span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;"></span><br /><span style="color:#cc33cc;">In this card below I have used the product for the Butterfly, which I drew out by going over a stamp and outlined! I have used the Butterfly in a LO (LayOut) that I took from a card project featured in the most recent cardmaking & papercraft magzine! I found it joyous to work along to a card rpoject LO and used my own papers and ideas and I was most pleased with the end result!</span><br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S5GNFuoqJZI/AAAAAAAABkU/28-OlL_HIJ0/s1600-h/SDC10962.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445288554025067922" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S5GNFuoqJZI/AAAAAAAABkU/28-OlL_HIJ0/s200/SDC10962.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S5GNFJ0lQPI/AAAAAAAABkM/QYSwFAwjabg/s1600-h/SDC10969.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445288544142967026" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S5GNFJ0lQPI/AAAAAAAABkM/QYSwFAwjabg/s200/SDC10969.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S5GNE8KJn6I/AAAAAAAABkE/c4ujkO9HRYY/s1600-h/SDC10972.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445288540475334562" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S5GNE8KJn6I/AAAAAAAABkE/c4ujkO9HRYY/s200/SDC10972.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Sequin Beadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02795901284208863316noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7562584683069254780.post-18707900018839204722010-02-09T14:46:00.000-08:002010-03-31T14:58:20.475-07:00Glass Painted Hearts on Floral CardGl<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S7PDdIzMC6I/AAAAAAAABlU/auur9iv62Oo/s1600/SDC11273.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5454918479021607842" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_uqs8a9Lf6x4/S7PDdIzMC6I/AAAAAAAABlU/auur9iv62Oo/s200/SDC11273.JPG" /></a><br /><span style="color:#993399;">I made this card withna glass painted topper, made by myself using a template of a heart from a craft magazine and our Glass Paints we sell online on our website <a href="http://www.iartsupplies.co.uk/">http://www.iartsupplies.co.uk/</a> . the topper has been adhered using foam squares and for the rest of the card I use lots of layers of papers and experimented with placement of the papers and added on flowers, range of, and stitched on beads and sequins and added on a blank white for a sentiment to add when required!</span><br /><span style="color:#993399;">Other pics of the card are seen below and a Matching Envelope is seen too, which I feel just finishes it all off.
