Oriental ATCs

Over on the Crafts Beautiful forum various swaps are taken each month, hosted b someone different each month! Phillipa Baxter (snaggles) is hosting it this month (June) and announced the winning theme to be "Oriental". This theme is set for the ATC Swap and here are my ATCs shown for the June Swap! I used some beautiful elegant Oriental decoupage designs for mine along with tea bag folding patterned floral paper which just sets the images off and works perfectly well too! I now hope that they both make a journey to a warm and appreciated home whee the recipitant will love them and enjoy looking at from time to time!
Thanks for looking, I really enjoyed making these and found it sooooo hard to part from them!

Oriental ATCs

Over on the Crafts Beuatiful Forum they run various Swaps and ATCs is one of them (Artist Trading Card) These are small cards of art using any craft technique or beyond where the actual ATC measures 2.5"x3.5". FOr Junes ATC Swap the host announced that the winning them is "Oriental". I have used these wonderful and delicate ooking Oriental Decoupgae images for mine. I adhered them onto tea bag folding patterned paper which are very oriental looking and wor really well with the two images (here and above)!

Classical Butterfly

I made this very unusual card using an exquisitely beautiful image of a Butterfly I purchased from a craft website weeks ao! I really LOVED working with this image and enjoyed putting together this card using this lovely classical B & W paper which works just perfectly with it, wrapping paper bought from a shop! I used a very interestin ribbon with beaded tassles on it and some lace too then finished off with stitching on white beads and punched out diasies reliefed. xx

Blueberyy Hill

These are a couple of my most recent card makes! I have been inspred for a while to try out painting my stamped images and, have to say doing so has been a therapeutic joy! To be able to paint again is a real joy and a big passion of mine, so to be able to paint in my favourite medium, WC, I have been really excited to be painting again! I can not do without my Rembrandt WC paints either, best paints ever to have and use for their vibrancy and quality too and the price well, you can not beat it! We sell them on our website www.trinity4arts.co.uk! check it out, if you get a spare 5 mis or 10, 15 or more.....! I used my new Bluebery Hill papers for these two cards and did a lot of stitching too! Thank you very much for looking! The two images were provided by the lovely Charlotte (Craftycharl) over on te CB Forum!

Series of Fairy Cards

I am in the middle of handcrafting a series of Fairy cards for a very special occasion. Instead of showing you them all individually so far, I am just posting my first card that I made for the series to give an idea of them as, they are all done in the same way and similar layout! Once they are all done, I shall post a pic of them all together! All sequins, beads and flowers are hand stitched on on top of the ribons also!

Pyramid Decoupage

This is a birthday card that I made for my Auntie using beautiful floral paper given to me in a RAK by Karen (Copse) over on the CB fprum! I stitched on all the sequins and beads and used a pyramid decoupage design!
