Glass Painting Card Challenge

This challenge is slightly different and will hopefully get your creativity flowing!

It is linked in to the questionnaire the I have been doing for the company that I work for as we are considering expanding into the craft market. The only thing is we mainly sell fine art materials, not so much craft materials. The closest we have to a 'craft product' is the Decorfin Glass and Relief Paints (there are also a few others on the page that the link goes to).

Before we do some advertising in CB, we want to see what the general reaction is to the glass paint, and what kind of card makes you will come up with. What makes this challenge different is that the company that supplies us -Royal Talens has provided the glass paints, relief paint and a brush, and we will cover the postage.

So the challenge is to make 2 cards,

One being a glass painted topper, that can be set on a card if you wish to demonstrate how it could be used, but the marks will only be to the topper itself.

One having a wedding theme, using the glass and relief paints along with what ever you feel inspired to.

The only thing that must be done is to combine the glass paint together with the relief paint. This can be done on any surface or background that you feel lead to, as it is very versatile and will go onto any surface. Just be sure to take your time and read the leaflet that will be enclosed and visit our company blog for tips on how to use it if it is new to you. There is also examples of work on the blog too.

The colours we will provide are Fuchsia, Turquoise, Violet and a gold relief paint.

The closing date for this challenge is Friday 11th June 8pm.

Could you please either e-mail me at natalie@trinity4arts.co.uk or Upload your entries to the Glass Painted Challnege thread over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum please. http://http://www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/29539/P15/ Thank you!

If you are interested all you need to do is go to our site register and order the challenge glass and relief paint from the link below, (you wont be charged it is only so that we have your details). If you don't want to do it this way just PM me! Finally we only ask that you fill in a short questionnaire that we will email you (if you have already answered one that's great!)

Friendship

"Friendship - Wall-Hanging"

This one of my most recent makes where I have used a Twisted Pyramage by Sandra kuck - she's a favourite of mine - and then, I made my very own Glass painted flower embellishments.
I used Relief paint to draw the flowers out, taken from a template 9cheat I know) then once dry filled in with glass paints and whilst wet, added on glitter embossing powder to give a little sparkle. All has been adhered onto Papermania Capsule Collection - Aqua! Ribbons and beads and sequins were on top of ribbon to finish as well as a paper rose and shell like flat bead to keep with the beachy feeling.

And, I then finished it off by making the Message Blank on the back and decorated to meet the front of the wall-hanging, finished with a ribbon to hang!

Research For Work

My husband & I are in the middle of doing some research and experiments for a new venture within our business and want to head down the craft industry with some products that we sell on our website.

We now want your help! So, if you are interested in answering a Questionnaire, Craft related, then could you please e-mail me natalie@trinity4arts.co.uk if you would like to answer the questionnaire and we can e-mail you the Questionnaire.

Your answers will help us remarkably and it will only take 5 minutes of your time!

Providing that you answer our Questionnaire we are thinking of setting up a Craft challenge where the products are provided to you for FREE! If you do not answer the Questionnaire then payment towards postage will be needed. Do keep your eye on my Blog as depending on how good a response we get we may, may not do the challenge.

Thanks for reading and thanks for helping us with our research!

Something Simple and Pretty

I made this very simple card with Simplicity in mind at the time of creating it. I was loving this beautiful pretty floral paper and really wanted to it show its beauty off! So used a couple of layers, added on some paper rose, stitched on some beads and sequins and punched paper flowers of the same floral paper and attached on a Dear Friedn Sentiment!

This card was made agian keeping simplicity in mind and wnated to use this Fiary Image very much. This was my result and I am fairly happy with it. Everything has been adhered with glue except the Fairy as have used foam squares to give dimension.

Glass Painted Butterfly Card

My Husband and I run our own business, selling Art & Hobby Materials online. We are in the process of of doing research (above) as we are in progress of furthering our ideas into the Carft Industry. One of the products we sell is Decorfin Glass Paint and Decorfin Relief Paint, produced by Royal Talens in Holland. There are other products to suit the craft market but, for now we are focussing on the Glass Paints.

In this card below I have used the product for the Butterfly, which I drew out by going over a stamp and outlined! I used two colours to piant it in and used silver relief paint to outline! I have used the Butterfly in a LO (LayOut) that I took from a card project featured in the most recent cardmaking & papercraft magzine! I found it joyous to work along to a card rpoject LO and used my own papers and ideas and I was most pleased with the end result!

Glass Painted Hearts on Floral CardGl

I made this card withna glass painted topper, made by myself using a template of a heart from a craft magazine and our Glass Paints we sell online on our website http://www.iartsupplies.co.uk/ . the topper has been adhered using foam squares and for the rest of the card I use lots of layers of papers and experimented with placement of the papers and added on flowers, range of, and stitched on beads and sequins and added on a blank white for a sentiment to add when required!
Other pics of the card are seen below and a Matching Envelope is seen too, which I feel just finishes it all off. Thanks for peking in.

Made an Matching Envelope to go with my card, below
