Something Simple and Pretty

I made this very simple card with Simplicity in mind at the time of creating it. I was loving this beautiful pretty floral paper and really wanted to it show its beauty off! So used a couple of layers, added on some paper rose, stitched on some beads and sequins and punched paper flowers of the same floral paper and attached on a Dear Friedn Sentiment!

This card was made agian keeping simplicity in mind and wnated to use this Fiary Image very much. This was my result and I am fairly happy with it. Everything has been adhered with glue except the Fairy as have used foam squares to give dimension.

New Makes

I made this Vintage Pyramage decoupage card last night for a special friend of mine on the Crafts Beautiful forum! I adhered the image on top of some gold and cream paper I purchased from Dobbies Garden Centre. I glued on some soft gold satin and blue satin ribbon before adhering on the pyramage! I finished off with gluing on two plastic flowers! and a ribbon bow!

This is another card I made last night using some RAK patterned paper I received from a member on the Crafts Beautiful forum some time ago! I felt this was perfect to bring out those soft odd grey colours and white in the ladys' collar! I kept the whole card simple and finished with a white satin ribbon and vintage button! This image is a Le Suh ladies Decoupage!

My New Makes

Below are some samples of my newest makes that I have made most recently.
This seems to be my new of working when I get creative but, am now wanting to try something new. I have been enjoying the pleasure of using my famous punches that I was not using for a while and, now seem to have found a vey interesting way of using them. Layering papers has been very intruiging for me and the build up of various patterns and colours has been my inspiration lately. Having studied a Textiles course down in the Borders, I am use to working with many colours together and creating something with variety. I feel that these samples of my handcrafted cards and ATCS achieves these factors.

Thanks for looking x
