This morning I received my February Card swap from Pinkpuppy over on the Crafts BEautiful forum. The theme for this swap is Spring! I was more than surprised with this most delicate and beautiful card made by Louise! Also, she far too kindly sent me a lovely range of decoupage papers and patterned papers too. Thank you very much Louise my dear friend.

Just the other day I got the most lovely surprise of all in aaaaaaages! I received this delihtfully pretty ATC from Jules (Devonbunny) over on the Crafts Beautiful forum! I was smiling so much with the thoughtfullness she sent on from her home in Devon. Such a pretty and cute image with a lovely range of colouyrs! Thank you very much Jules darlin, this was most kind of you!

Valentines Day and Cards

This card I made especially for someone in particular, over on the Crafts Beautiful forum,ad ear friend of mine! I used this decoupage design and made a wintry style card using floral vellum to allow the fairy to really stand out on the card! I atached the vellum by stitching on sequins and beads using silver metallic thread all the way round the card to frame the overall design! Now, I just hope she likes it when she receives it soon.

I made this card using a decoupage design I fell in love with straight away. I have attached to some light brown patterned paper to border off from the pink swirls paper on the background to balance off the colurs and, added on two flowers to finish!

Valentines Day!! Well, what can I say! I guessed right.....I got my Stargazer Lilys and I got the most beautiful loving card with a love story in it and not only these but, I also got a massive bar of Toblerone to enjoy (which I have started may I add) and a lovely bottle of white wine which we both indulged in - as well as the Cava I gave my darling husband for Valentines - while we had our Indian take away and watched telly!

It took three phone calls to 3 different indian take aways to order something who were actually doing take aways and deliveries too. Such a busy night is Valentines! Our dinner was most enjoyable. Had two glasses of white wine and 2 glasses of Cava and I was zonked out once in my bed! What afab night we had!

Cards

I made this male card as a Thanks for someone who deserved this special card! I used some paper given to me by two special people for some ME crafting time and this paper was just perfect for this card. I kept it very simple and heat embossed the THANKYOU stamp and added on a silver antique button to finish!

I made this Fairy card for a general card but, not for anyone specifically! I had started to make my Jan. card swap but realised once I had adhered the gld and cream paper that gold was not in the theme! So, I have put in my basket of cards until needed. Really enjoyed making this card.

This card I made to serve two purposes; a wallhanging and a greeting card! I used a fairy ecoupage and mounted onto two patterned papers on a circle base. This has not been made for anyone in particular, so again is put into my card basket until needed.

Ava and A Bargain!

Here she is. My little princess Ava Brooke! This was taken two days when I got up with the kids, Ava woke at around 6;15am, very unusual for her! Anyway, decided to take some pics as need to give an update on her development. Ava is now over 10 months old, walking (least learning and each day she is becoming so much more confident too). Here Ava is feeding herself the lst couple of oz of her milk! So cute I thought! Hope you like the pics! Can not believe how much she has changed and she turns 1 on 21st March, gee where does the time go????

Last Wednesday, I took Ava out on a short walk in the snow, all wrapped up of course, and we went to the post box to post a couple of things and get a tv mag and paper for DH! Whilst in the PO I stumbled across a DVD stand and there on the shelf was Miss.Potter! Priced at £6.99! I have never seen this before and have heard it's excelent so, it was a must have! I was even more so delighted to buy it as got to the counter and Marie said it's half price....so I got this DVD for £3.48! What afab bargain this was and I can not wait to watch it too!

Magazine Reads

My Crafts Beautiful MArch Issue arrived today and I am very excited about it. I am of to bed soon to have a read and see what it is all about. The Valentine papers are gorg! and I love the look of this tasty Cards & Cupcakes book!

Bought this on Sunday while shopping in Asda as couldn't find the LGC Beads issue. i have had a thoroughly good read of this and enjoyed a few projects. Not as good as I thought it would be. Trying to figure out what sort of card designto do for DH this year! Bit tricky!

I bought this Papercraft Inspirations at the weekend for some reading materil and thorougly enjoyed it. The free stamps are just lovely and can't wiat to have a play! I particulary enjoyed the questionnaire with Dawn Bibby!

Order from Crafts U Love

This is an order I placed with craftsulove.com of papers and stamps. I received these last weeka nd have begun to use the wonerful patterned papers. Not used the stamps yet for anything but, have stamped some images out for the Image Swap for February! Great bargains I got of the stamps though, 99p!
