Angel

I made this card using the most adoreable Angel image ever from Sandra Kuck designs. this is a twisted pyramage which I have adhered to some Papermania Capsule Red Hot and Aqua collections of paper stacks. I finished off by adhereing on various paper flower embellishments and paper roses and gems. Finished off with "For You" in my own handwriting and decorated the inside to finish!

Card to Fit A Sketch

This "City Miss, Pedal Power" card I have made to fit the Sketch I have pictured further down posted thursday 13th May, from the Cardmaking & papercraft latest issue. I followed the sketch but twisted it a bit and advanced it a little which you will see. It's mainly the text to balance it out better, otheriwse would have looked rather bizarre and off balance too. used bits and pieces for this and found it a bit of a challenge. Really enjoyed making though and loed using this image.

Ballet Wallhanging

Presented in this 3D box is a handcrafted wallhanging that I especially made for my neice, Isla. I chose the particular image for the basis of the card design because my neice was doing he First EVER Ballet Show just over a week ago and, I thought it would be nice to make her a little special gift for her Big Night.
This twisted Pyramage ballet image is one of Sandra Kucks designs, amongst a coule of other ballet ones, and i matched it with the most beautiful floral paper from the Rose Garden Paper stack by Papermania. It was difficult to choose the right paper but, this was worked best with the image. I then adhered on lots of pretty paper flowers with paper roses (my new craft fetish) and finished with my own sentiment.

Then completely finished the wallhanging by decorating the back to complement the front and wrote my message to her for her 1st Ballet Show.

More ATCs

These are some more ATCs ( Artist Trading Cards) that I have made over the past couple of nights. Used Sandra kuck Images and Fairy Images from die cut sheets from LOTV (lily of the Valley). Really enjoying making ATCs at the minute and surprised how quick they are to make too. I urge any crafter to give them a go.

ATCs

I have been busy creating ATCs this week to build up my stock and for one other reason but, I shall not say for what as it is a surprise for now!

I make a lot of cards using Twisted Pyramage Decoupage and on the sheets are tag shapes and little tags with a twisted pyramage too. These I use for making a Birthday set or some kind of set when it is for something special but, recently I have found using them on ATCs a very good way to use with scraps of papers and odds and ends from my crafty stash too. Very simple and effective. There are Angel Images, by Saadra Kuck, and some little Girl images on the beach and afternoon tea images also. Hope you like them and your comments will be much appreciated. More are on their way, so keep your eyes out. You can see better pictures of these on the following

CLP Sketch 25

Crafting Lifes Pieces

Recently I came across this Blog set up by Chelsea http://craftinglifespieces.blogspot.com and I was stuned by her cardmaking, style and use of materials and generally, just HER Work! From her Blog I then found she does Sketch Challenges and now I want to try some of them out and continue to follow her Blog and Her Sketches too.
Above is Sketch Challenge #25 which I am going to carry out once I have a base to use. For this I might just use my Painting Skills and paint a stamped image or I might just even be different to everyone else and do something else! Whatever I do do, keep your eye out......until then I urge that you all hop on over to Chelseas blog, very Inspirational.

Relaxing Evening

My Painting Time

I decided to take the opportunity last night to sit outside in the nice wather we had and watercolour some stamped images for some craft makes. These images were all RAKs or from Image Swaps that I am part of each month on the CB forum. Nice way to get some stamped images that you can use for your own cards.
The one above here (Party Girl) and the One below are for a Swap I am doing this month. I will be making up the actual makes tonight or tomorrow. I very much enjoyed sitting oustide last night listening to the Birds singing away and taking in the fresh air. Nice way to relax and finish off your day.
