A Thankyou Card

Above is a small RAK that my dearest frend Sarah gave me.It's a beautiful touching bookmark, which I use for every book that I read just now, and a most gorgeous painted Fairy ATC too. I was touched very warmly with this very generous gift from Sarah aka tiggertastic over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum. Thank you darlin!
Above and Below show a card that I made using Glass Paints, Decorfin. This is a Dutch Paint which we sell on our website at www.iartsupplies.co.uk and I am a very passioante glass painter in cardmaking.Imake my very own toppers and this flower topper was great fun to do despite it being so timeconsuming to do. I used a very decorative paper from the Papermania Rose Collection and added pink ribbon and stitched on sequins and beads and a paper rose to hte centre of the topper. Below, shows the inside which I decorated to finish off the card.

The Teddy Bears Wallahnging here I made for Buzyknitting over on the Crafts Beautiful Forum aka Pat. She is a knitter and makes many knitted dolls and teddy style products. Her work is remarakbaly beautiful and worth looking at. Anyway, made this card as a Thanks as she is a lovely and very kind friend. I really enjoyed making butit took quite some time to make. As you can see lots of paper flowers used again.I just can not get away from them.

Love Birds

This Birdie card I made some time ago and very much enjoyed creating too. What a pleasure it was to use this beautiful Craft Creations Decoupage Image. This image I got given for free by by craft creations themselves when I received an order form them of my card blanks - that's where I get my card blanks from you see - and inside was a A4 pack of various designs and this Birdie was one of 4.I teamed it up with Amy Butler paper and layerd with white card to frame the image. I added on paper flowers and paper roses too and ribbon also. Finished off with peircing a hole in the card and adding on a old butterfly earring I do not wear anymore. Finished it all off by decorating the inside too which is pictured right at the bottm of the post.

More of My Cards

Above is a Birthday card Imade for no one in particular, was just to add to my basket of handcrafted cards. I painted the Fairy with my Rembrandt Watercolour paints and adhered with layering papers and card and adding gems and flowers from www.wildorchidcrafts.co.uk which I am Loving right now and is my craze too.

Above here is a card I made specifically for my best freidns Sarah aka tiggertastic on the Crafts Beautiful Forum just to say how special she is to me. I am not one really for using die cuts but this floral die cut I just loe for the glitter on it and it worksreally well with the patterned paper from a Papermania collection.

A Fairy Birthday card which went to my younger sister. I used a LOTV image and lots of paper roses here and enjoyed layering paper and card.

There was a bit of a Baby Boom a fewmonths ago so, I had to make quite a few new baby cards. Here are two; a baby boy and baby girl card where I have used a couple of Craft Creation baby images and adhered on to RAK papers from seaweed aka Debbie Siddle (who has had aquite a few cards featured in craft magazines) and lots and lots of paper roses and gems with my own sentiments too.
The one below went to a friend of my step MIL and this was a commission. I was just asked to make a baby girl card using anything and any style an it was very much loved.

Cards from a While Ago

Above is a StargazerLily decoupage I made about a month ago used with papermania papers, really enjoyed making this.
Above here, is a Birthday card I made some time ago for a lady on the CB (Crafts Beautiful) Forum named Crafterga aka Gaynor. I painted the stamped image with my WC paints and adhered to Papermania paper and used lots of yummy paper roses too finished with a staggered sentiment.

And below here, is a card that I made using a Lily of The Valley Die cut image of a Fairy. Their die cut images are just gorgeous and irresistable to use. This was lovely to make and added on ribbon and roses and paper flowers too with sentiment of my own.

An Update

It has been quite some time since I have blogged on my own personal blog but, I have good reason for this: beenbusy with our business seling art and craft materials on our website www.iartsupplies.co.uk and we have a Blog on there now which takes a lot of my time when not dealing with orders and that and my wee family of my own. Having two kids takes a lot out of you.
Anyway, here are a few cards for you all to see which I created a while back. Have enjoyed using papermania Collections of paper stacks and have become completely obsessed with paper roses and paper flowers in all my cards.

Apart from really enjoying painting with watercolours, rembrandt watercolour range, I also love crafting with twisted pyramage designs, especially the Sandra Kuck Fairys and Children images.

Angel

I made this card using the most adoreable Angel image ever from Sandra Kuck designs. this is a twisted pyramage which I have adhered to some Papermania Capsule Red Hot and Aqua collections of paper stacks. I finished off by adhereing on various paper flower embellishments and paper roses and gems. Finished off with "For You" in my own handwriting and decorated the inside to finish!
